Mike hates everyone and everything. Bickering constantly, he spews nothing but an endless stream of cutdowns and cynical remarks. You'd think everyone would hate him, but really Squadron 128 feels rather indifferent towards him.

Shortly, they've grown immune to his constant grouchiness. They take his opinions as what they are -- just mindless ramblings from a guy who doesn't have a good thought in his head. Sure, he may hate you, but he hates everyone, so it doesn't really matter.

Why is he terminally cranky? Who knows? And who cares? Mike certainly doesn't.
